Newsletter

If you subscribe, I store your email in a Cloudflare D1 database. I use double opt-in: you get a confirmation email and are subscribed only after you click. Without confirmation the address stays inactive and is removed.

Your email is used only to send you the newsletter, never for third-party advertising. Delivery goes through Resend, which as a processor records opens and clicks in aggregate to tell whether emails arrive and get read. You can unsubscribe any time from the link at the bottom of every email: it takes effect immediately.

Analytics

I use Cloudflare Web Analytics: it is cookieless and does not track people individually. It collects aggregate, anonymous data (page views, referrer, device) to help me see what is worth writing.

The analytics script loads only if you consent from the banner. If you pick "essential only", nothing runs.

Preferences stored on your device

Theme, accessibility options, and your banner choice stay in your browser localStorage. They never leave your device and never reach any server. You can clear them by wiping the site data.

Who I share data with

Cloudflare, for hosting, database, and analytics. Resend, for sending emails. No one else. I do not sell or hand data to third parties.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data using the contact below. For the newsletter, unsubscribing deletes or deactivates your address right away.
